Today on our 2008 Honda Accord, were going to be test-fitting the Kuat Trio roof mounted bike rack, part number TR02.Well begin our test-fit by placing our rack on top of our vehicle. Now, we went ahead and install the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack Systems, so thats what well be test-fitting it on today.Well go ahead and line our pad up here over the top of AeroBlade. Now this rack includes two U bolts and four cylinder nuts. The cylinder nuts have one end that that is threaded, and the other end has a hex head that fits your Allen key. You want to put those in the four slots with the hex side up.I want to go ahead and grab a stool here. You might want to have one nearby. more

Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Honda Odyssey

Today on our 2012 Honda Odyssey, we will be test fitting the Swagman fork down roof-mounted bike carrier, part #S64710. With the factory roof rack on our vehicle, we will begin the test fit, by placing the bike rack directly onto our bars. At the front of the bike rack, we will take the U-bolt at the underside of our bars, lifting it through the platform and then securing it with the two wing nuts. We will then repeat this process for the other side of the front mount. Here at the rear of the rack, we will place the U-bolt downward through the holes making sure that it goes around our rear bar. We will place our U-bolt through the black metal plate and secure it with wing nuts. more

Today on our 2012 Honda Odyssey, we will be test fitting the Rockymounts tierod stretch roof-mounted bike rack, part number RKY1011. With the factory roof rack on our vehicle, we will begin our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our crossbars. We will remove the black cap on the head of the carrier, bring our straps around our bar, and fit them back into the head of the carrier. We will then use an Allen key to tighten the Allen bolt, securing our straps around our bar, and then replace our black cap. Here at the rear, we will completely remove one of the bolts from the bracket. We will position it around our bar and reinstall the bolt loosely. We will tighten down each bolt until our bracket is secured. Now we will grab our bike, placing it onto the bike rack, dropping the front fork down onto the skewer. more

Today on our 2012 Honda Odyssey we will be test fitting the Rocky Mounts Tie Rod Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part #RKY1014. Wit the factory roof rack on our vehicle, we will begin the test fit by placing the bike rack directly onto our bars. At the front of the carrier we will remove the black cap, bring our straps around our bar and fit them into the head of the carrier. We will then use an Allen key to tighten the Allen bolt securing our straps around our bar. We will now replace the black plastic cap. We will then move to the rear bar completely removing one of the bolts in our bracket, move it around our bar and re-secure it with the bolt. more

Here at the rear, we'll take our U bolt and drop it through the top of our bike rack, making sure the bolts go around each side of our rear load bar. more

Here at the rear, we'll loosen up one of the Allen bolts so we can bring our rear clamp around our rear bar. We'll use an Allen key to tighten down our Allen bolts to secure our rear clamp around our bar. We'll go ahead and undo the rear wheel strap and make sure our skewer at the front is loose. more

Today on our 2006 Honda Pilot, well be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number RKY1014.With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our load bars.Here at the front, well bring our straps around our front bar and then we can remove our black plastic cover, so we can fit the straps back into the head of the carrier. Well then use an Allen key to tighten the Allen bolt, which will tighten our straps around our bar. Once we have our straps tight, we can replace our black plastic cover. At the rear well take out one of the Allen bolts so we can bring our rear clamp around our rear bar, well drop our Allen bolt back through the appropriate slots and then we can use an Allen key to tighten our Allen bolts to secure our clamp around our bar.With the front and rear secured, well go ahead and undo the rear wheel strap and make sure our skewer at the front is loose. Well grab our bike and place it on to our bike rack, drop in our front forks down onto our skewer. Well secure the bike first by tightening our skewer and then move to the rear and tighten with the wheel strap. With the bike all loaded up were ready to go and that completes todays test fit for the RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Rack, parts number RKY1014, on our 2006 Honda Pilot. more

SportRack Frame Mount Roof Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2012 Honda Fit

Today on our 2012 Honda Fit, we'll be test fitting the Sportrack roof-mounted bike rack, part number SR4611. With the Thule Rapid Traverse roof-rack system on our vehicle we'll begin our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our load bars. Here at the front platform we'll bring our U-bolt from the underside of our load bar and fit it back up through our front platform. We'll secure it by tightening down the two wingnuts. We'll then repeat this process for the other side of our front platform. With the front of our bike rack secured we'll move to the rear and place our fitted bracket between our bike rack and our rear load bar. We'll drop our bolts through the top of the bike rack and we'll also fit them through the rubber-coated metal bracket that goes around the underside of our load bar. We'll secure it in place by tightening down two wingnuts. We'll undo each wheel strap and make sure our frame jaws are open. We'll grab our bike and place it onto our bike rack, securing it first with the frame jaw placing it around the lower part of our frame and closing the lever to finish the securing process. Then we'll move to each wheel and tighten with the wheel straps. With our bike all loaded up we're ready to go. That completes today's test fit of the Sportrack roof-mounted bike rack, part number SR4611 on our 2012 Honda Fit. more

Here at the front we'll bring our U bolt around the underside of our front load bar and fit it back up through our carrier. Then we'll secure it by installing two cylinder nuts. We'll do this for the other side of the bike rack as well. Then we can take the included tool and tighten down all four cylinder nuts until we have the front of our bike rack secured to the front bar. Here at the rear we'll install our two bolts, sliding them up until we have one on each side of our rearload bar. more

Today on our 2011, Honda CRV, we'll be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number RKY1011. To begin our test fit, we simply place the carrier onto the vehicle's crossbars and in no specific order, bring the rubber-coated steel straps through the underside of the front crossbar and bring the back, black bracket around the underside of the rear crossbar. We'll then use the Allen bolts to tighten on the rear bracket as well as hooking the rubber-coated steel straps in the head of the carrier and tightening it down with the Allen key. Once both brackets are tightened down, our RockyMounts TieRod is secured to our Honda CRV. Now, we're ready to load up our bike. We'll loosen up the skewer and undo the rear tray strap. more

Here at the read, we'll loosen up the bolts on our clamp, to bring around our rear bar. more

Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2003 Honda Pilot

Today on our 2003 Honda Pilot we'll be test fitting the Yakima Forklift Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number Y02098. With a factory roof rack on our vehicle we'll begin our test fit by placing the bike rack up onto the vehicle's load bars. Starting here at the front, we'll go ahead and remove the skewer. We'll then loosen up the wingnut and bring the front bracket around the underside of the front bar. We'll position the silver T-bolt into the slot at the bottom portion of the bracket and tighten down our black wingnut. Moving the rear we can then adjust the black wingnut as well to position the rear bracket around the rear bar. Again we'll position the silver T-bolt into the slot and tighten down the black wingnut to secure the rear part of the bike rack to the rear bar. With everything all tightened down and secured, we're ready to load up our bike. Back up at the front we'll slide the black cover over the black wingnut and reinstall our skewer, making sure it stays loose so our forks can slide down onto it. Now moving the rear, we'll go ahead and undo the strap. We'll place our bike up onto the bike rack, sliding the forks down onto the skewer. We can adjust the sewer and clamp it down, securing the back tire with the rear strap. With our bike all loaded up, that'll complete today's test fit for the Yakima Forklift Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number Y02098, on our 2003 Honda Pilot. more

We'll then pull out our hardware and take the silver U bolts to go on the underside of the front bar up through the pre-drilled holes at the front part of the bike rack. We'll then thread on our wing nuts and tighten them down, securing the front part of the bike rack to the front bar. Moving to the rear, this time we'll take the silver U bolt to go on top of the bike rack through the pre-drilled holes, taking the black plate to go on the underside of the rear bar. We'll thread on our black wing nuts and tighten it down to secure the rear bike rack to the rear bar. Now that everything is all tightened down and secured, we're ready to load up our bike. more

We can then remove the black plastic cover at the front to bring the rubber coated, steel straps around the underside of the front bar. We can then hook them into the connection points. Well now move to the rear and use the allen wrench to remove one of the allen bolts to position the rear bracket around the rear bar. Well then reinstall the allen bolt and tighten it down. Well now move back up to the front and use the included allen key to tighten down the silver bolt to bring the rubber coated, steel straps up around tightly against the front bar. With everything all tightened down and secure, were ready to load up our bike. Well replace the black, plastic cover at the front and double check to make sure our skewer is loose. Well undo the strap at the rear, and place our bike up onto the bike rack. more

Well take our silver brackets to go on the underside of the front load bar and up through the predrilled holes at the front part of the bike rack. Well then thread on our black wing nuts and tighten it down. Well then go to the rear where this time well slide the silver bracket down through the predrilled holes of the bike rack and use the black plate to rest on the underside of the rear bar. more

We'll then remove the black plastic cover at the front to bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the front bar hooking them into the connection points. We'll then move to the rear and remove one Allen bolt to bring the rear bracket around the underside of the rear load bar tightening back down with a wrench. We'll then move back to the front using the included Allen key to turn the silver bolt to tighten down the rubber-coated steel straps up against the bar. With everything all tightened down and secured we're ready to load up our bike. more

We'll then move to the rear and loosen up one of the Allen bolts to bring the rear bracket around the underside of the rear bar. We'll then thread the Allen bolt back through the bottom part of the bracket and tighten down with a wrench. With the rear part tightened down we'll move back up to the front and use the included Allen key to tighten the silver bolt to tighten down the front straps. more

We'll open up the front bracket and make sure that the clamps go around our front bar. When we have the T-bar set back into the slot, we can tighten the wing nut sitting on top of the platform. We'll do this for both sides. We'll measure the rear and undo both wing nuts and remove the bracket. more

Today on our 2013 Honda CR-V, we're going to be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number RKY1014. Our CR-V is already equipped with a factory roof rack so we're going to mount the RockyMounts TieRod directly to the factory cross bars. We'll lift up the carrier and set it on top of our cross bars. We'll feed the straps at the head of the bike carrier around our front bar. Lock them back into the head and use an Allen key to tighten them down. Then we can reinstall the cover on the head of the bike rack. more

Today on our 2013 Honda CRV, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Domestique roof-mounted bike carrier, part number TH513. To mount the carrier to our roof rack, we'll set it up on top of our cross bars, and then we can fit the head of the bike rack over our front load bar. We'll lift the bottom clamp around the bottom of our load bar, and use the included Allen key to tighten down the Allen head bolts. Once we have the head of our bike rack secured, we can move to the rear. We want to position the rear clamp and again tighten it down with the included Allen wrench. Once we've done that, we'll take our skewer and reinsert it into the head. more

Today on our 2012 Honda Civic sedan, we'll be test fitting the Yakima front loader roof mounted wheel mount bike carrier, part number Y02103. Now with the roof rack system already on our vehicle, we'll start off our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicle's cross bars. In no specific order, we'll loosen up the back bracket and the front bracket to bring the back bracket around the rear cross bar and the front clamps around the front cross bar. We can then turn the black T handle at the rear of the carrier to secure the rear bracket to the rear cross bar, and turn the black T handle at the front of the carrier to tighten down the jaws on the front cross bar. Now that the carrier is secured to the cross bars, we're ready to load up our bike. We'll unfold the front part of the wheel mount and undo the tray strap. more

Today on our 2012 Honda Civic sedan well be test fitting the Yakima Forklift roof mounted bike carrier, part number Y02098. To begin our test fit well simply place the carrier onto the vehicles cross bars and in no specific order loosen up the front bracket as well as the rear bracket to bring the brackets around the underside of the front and rear crossbar. Youll want to make sure that the bike carrier is perpendicular to the vehicles crossbars to ensure that the brackets fit correctly on the crossbars. Once weve established this position we can then tighten down the black T handle at the rear of the carrier to secure the rear crossbar to the vehicle, as well as tightening down the black T handle at the front of the carrier to secure the front of the carrier to the front of the crossbar, that when loosening up or tightening the black T handle, you may need to remove a skewer from the head of the carrier in order to remove the front black plastic safety cap. Once we have the carrier secured to the vehicles crossbars were ready to load up our bike. Well loosen up the skewer at the front of the carrier and move to the rear of the carrier and undo the tray strap. more

Once the carrier is tightened down were ready to load the bike. To load the bike, sit the bike onto the tray and secure the frame hook tightly against the frame. Once the frame hook is tightly in place you can secure it with the tray straps. more

To begin our test fit, well undo the bracket at the rear of the carrier and set the carrier onto the crossbars. Take off the top plastic cover and secure the rubber grips around the front crossbar then replace the cover. Well move on to the rear of the carrier. Well swing the bracket around the underneath side of the rear crossbar and use the Allen key to tighten up the bracket. To load the bike, first, well loosen up the skewer and undo the tray strap, set the bike onto the carrier, tighten up the skewer and secure it with the tray strap. more

Today on our 2012 Honda Accord, well be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part #RKY1014. Now, to begin our test fit, our vehicle is already equipped with a roof rack system. Well place our bike rack on top of the roof rack, making sure that the head of the bike rack is directly over the front crossbar. Well also need to make sure that the rubber-coated steel straps are underneath the front crossbar. We can then bring them around, and after removing the cover from the head of the bike rack, well clip them into place. Well then move to the rear crossbar, where well put the clamp from the bike rack around the rear crossbar and secure it using the wing nuts included with the bike rack. more

Well fit the straps at the front of the bike rack around the front load bar, re-secure them to the head of the bike rack and then use an Allen wrench to tighten them down. Once weve done that, we can move to the back, use the clamp and wing nuts at the back of the bike rack to secure it around the rear load bar. Once both the front and rear of the bike rack are tightened down, we can prepare to load a bike. Well undo the skewer at the front of the bike rack and make sure its open. more

Today, we have with us a 2007 Honda Civic Sedan and we're going to be test fitting the Yakima FrontLoader Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number Y02103. To mount the FrontLoader up on top of our crossbars, we'll set it into place, fitting the front clamp around the front bar and the rear clamp around the rear bar. We'll use the included hand knob to tighten down the front clamp and then we'll use the T-bolt and wing nut to tighten down the rear clamp. With both clamps tightened, we're ready to load up our bike. We'll open up the top wheel hoop at the front of the bike rack and make sure that our wheel strap is open at the rear. We'll pick up our bike, set it into place, and bring the rear wheel hoop up to the back of the tire and tighten that with our hand knob. more

All right, today on this 2012 Honda CR-V, we're going to do a test fit of part number Y02098 from Yakima. This is the forklift roof mounted bike carrier. Now our Honda's already been equipped with a Yakima roof rack system and a bicycle rack who's already been assembled according to the instructions so all I got to do is place it on the roof rack. We'll start off by placing the front half of the bicycle rack with your front bar and then we'll go ahead and put the clamp onto it and route it underneath the bar and then loosely secure it. Then we'll go ahead and do the same process for the clamp at the back bar. All right, now we'll go ahead and take a second to make sure the roof rack is in the spot we wanted and make sure it's even in a straight line going front to rear. more

Today on our 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid, we're going to be test fitting part number TH513, the Thule Domestique Fork-Mount Bike Carrier. Now, our vehicle is already equipped with the Thule Rapid Aero Roof Rack System so we're ready to go ahead and fit our bike rack to the vehicle. To begin, we'll set the bike rack on top of the crossbars. We'll place the head of the bike rack directly over the front crossbar. We can then bring the clamping device underneath the crossbar and tighten it down using the Allen wrench included within the bike rack. We'll then move to the back mount while we'll bring the clamp underneath the rear crossbar and clamp it down again using the included Allen wrench. more

Today on our 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid, we will be test fitting the Rocky mounts Tierod roof mounted bike carrier part no RKY1014. Now we've already removed the bike rack head cover so we will set the head over the front crossbar and bring the rubber coated steel straps underneath and resecuring them to the head of the bike rack. We can them move to the rear mount where we will bring the clamp underneath the rear bar and tighten it down with the wing nuts provided with our bike rack and with our rear mounts tight we can go ahead and move back to the head of the bike rack and tighten it down using the Allen Key tool included with the bike rack. Once that is tighten out we can reinstall our bike rack head and cover and we're almost ready to load our bike. We will simply make sure the skewer is out and centered and that our rear wheel strap is undone and out of the way. We will then place our bike on top of our bike carrier we will put the front fork into the skewer and tighten it down. more
